Electrical High Voltage Standards - State
(UCSD 3098)

This intensive two day training course is designed for employees working on or near equipment energized above 600 volts.  It meets many state regulatory training requirements covering people who work on or near high voltage electric equipment.  The course also includes additional safety related information such as equipment safety practices, dealing with hazards, and use of protective equipment. 

Course participants will gain an improved knowledge of state standards.  They will increase their ability to recognize and mitigate high voltage electrical hazards.  In addition, participants will benefit from an enhanced awareness of current overall safety practices and standards, and from sharing their field experiences with the instructor and other participants.
