Cal OSHA Standards for General Industry
(UCSD 821)


This three-day course is designed for personnel from all California industries and government agencies. Details are presented on key sections of Title 8, California Code of Regulations. Discussions include how best to implement the CCRs in the workplace; supervisors' rights and responsibilities; the most frequently-cited standards; how the appeal system works; and record-keeping requirements. Students will learn how to identify common violations of Title 8 standards specific to their workplaces and describe appropriate abatement procedures for selected safety hazards.

Fee: $650
Time: 8:00 am-4:30 pm
Travel plans must accomodate the 4:30 end time.
