10 Hour Construction Safety
(UCSD 10C)


This course introduces OSHA policies, procedures, and standards as well as construction safety and health principles. The course will review the scope and application of the OSH Act and General Duty Clause, as well as examine areas that are most hazardous. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA construction safety and health 10-hour course completion card.

  • General safety and health provisions
  • Competent Person
  • Fall Protection
  • Electrical
  • Cranes, derricks, hoists, elevators and conveyors
  • Scaffolding
  • Stairways and ladders
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Fire protection and prevention
  • Confined Spaces

This course is part of Workshop Week - Disaster Response.

Fee: $295
Times:

One day course:  8:00 am - 6:30 pm

Two day course:

  • Day One: 8:00 am-4:30 pm
  • Day Two: 8:00 am-12:30 pm

Travel plans must accomodate the different planned course end times.
