Cal OSHA Standards for the General Industry (UCSD 821)
Designed for those from all California industries and government agencies. This three day course presents key sections of Title 8, and General Industry Safety Orders. Discussions include: how best to implement the California Code of Regulations in the workplace, supervisors' rights and responsibilities, the most frequently cited standards, how the appeal system works, and record keeping requirements. Identify common violations of Title 8 standards specific to your workplace and describe appropriate abatement procedures for selected safety hazards.
Note: Travel plans must accommodate the 4:30 p.m. end time.
