Fall Protection (OSHA 3110)
4 day course: encounter state-of-the-art technology for fall protection and current OSHA requirements. Topics include the principles of fall protection, the components of fall arrest systems, the limitations of fall arrest equipment, and OSHA policies regarding fall protections. Course features a one-day field exercise demonstrating fall protection equipment. Topics include: Conventional Systems, Body Holding Devices, Anchor Points, Harness, Vertical / Horizontal Traveling Systems.
Note: Recommended Equipment: Appropriate clothing for field exercise. Travel plans must accommodate the 4:30 p.m. end time.
