For students wanting to learn the 29 CFR 1910 standards, this course is a must. Learn crucial OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles as they relate to real world situations. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide. Topics Include: OSH Act, Safety and Health Management Systems, Personal Protective Equipment, Hazard Communication, and Electrical. Weekend classes are either Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday 8am-4:30 pm.
Note: Travel plans must accommodate the 4:30 p.m. end time.
