The focus of this TRAINER course is to prepare students to teach the 10 and 30 Hour Outreach classes. Course time is spent learning and practicing adult training techniques. Students will participate in the development and delivery of lectures during class. Thorough knowledge of OSHA General Industry Standards (CFR 1910) is required. You must take the OSHA 511 prior to taking this course. Upon successful course completion, students become authorized OSHA Trainers in the 10 and 30 Hour Outreach Programs. Laptop recommended. Weekend classes are either Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday 8am-4:30 pm.
Note: This course has prerequisites. On the first day of class you will be asked to sign an Eligibility Statement confirming you meet these prerequisites.

Five years of General Industry safety experience
Travel plans must accommodate the 4:30 p.m. end time.
