Introduction to Fire and Life Safety in the Workplace

ONLINE COURSE This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and understanding of fire and life safety requirements in the workplace including fire prevention, fire protection, and fire suppression methods. The class will familiarize students with the applicable codes, standards and regulations as well as the history leading to the fire and life safety requirements. Students will learn to apply the requirements to specific workplace situations. The class will cover systems and equipment used to provide Fire & Life Safety in the workplace and how to maintain/inspect them.

Note: This course is offered online only. There are no in-class meetings.

Travel plans must accommodate the course end time.
