OSHA 5400 - Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Maritime Industry

This is a Trainer Course for those interested in teaching the 10 and 30 Hour Maritime Outreach Program. Special emphasis is placed on required Outreach topics, using OSHA standards as a guide. Students are taught effective adult instructional techniques. This course authorizes students to become Maritime Outreach Trainers.

Note: IMPORTANT - ONLINE ENROLLMENT IS NOT PERMITTED. A Verification of Prerequisite Form must be sent in, along with your OSHA 5410 documentation, to obtain approval to attend the course. The required prerequisites are: OSHA 5410 course and three years of maritime safety experience. Additional requirements include two years of occupational safety and health experience (with a broad focus) in any industry; a college degree in occupational safety and health, from an accredited college or university; an ASP, CSP, CIH, CMC or CSHM designation.
