ASSE Southern Arizona Chapter offers OSHA compliance training as a host site organization for UC San Diego's OSHA Training Institute Education Center (UCSD OTIEC) in areas including fire safety, confined space, electrical standards, fall protection, industrial hygiene, Maritime and Train the Trainer courses. One of the original OTIECs, UCSD has provided occupational safety and health construction and general industry standards based education since 1992. In addition to the U.S. Department of Labor OTIEC courses, UCSD has a long history of providing courses in safety and health management and training, hazardous materials waste management and emergency preparedness.

The OSHA Outreach Training Program provides training for students on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. The courses below enable students to teach the 10- and 30-hour classes that result in OSHA Outreach Program course completion cards for their students.
