UCSD is among a select few educational institutions authorized to offer United States Dept. of Labor’s OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC) numbered courses throughout Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii & Nevada. Topics include OSHA standards, machine guarding, confined space entry, & electrical standards. Some courses may be applied to the Occupational Safety and Health Department Certificate Programs.

OSHA Trainer Courses
The OSHA Outreach Training Program provides training for students on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. Some courses may be applied to the Occupational Safety and Health Department Certificate Programs.
