Introduction to Permit Required Confined Space Entry (OSHA 7300)

The primary objective of this course is to increase the participant's knowledge of OSHA's permit-required confined space (permit space) standard, 29 CFR 1910.146.  Areas of instruction include scope and definitions, general requirements, permit space programs, rescue and training.  Completion of this course does not fulfill the training requirements contained in 29 CFR 1910.146, nor does it certify the student as a "competent person."  The target audience is the small employer or a representative (e.g. line supervisor or manager) designated with the responsibility to develop a permit space program.

You will take home:

  • Course materials in addition to a CD, which contains the course materials.  After the course, they become a valuable reference that helps to implement the skills learned from the course.

This course is part of Workshop Week.
