Update for Construction Industry Trainers (OSHA 502)

This course is designed for personnel in the private sector who have completed "Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry (OSHA 500)" and who are active trainers in the outreach program.  It provides an update on such topics as OSHA construction standards, policies, and regulations.   When you complete the course, you are authorized to train for four years.  At the end of four years, you must take an update course to renew your authorization for another four years.

Required Prerequisite: Participants must have completed OSHA 500 within the previous four years.  If the four year time has expired, the student is required to take the OSHA 500 course and is not eligible for the OSHA 502 course.

Required Equipment: Students will need safety shoes, hard hats, and appropriate clothing for field exercise.

Fee: $650
Time: 8:00 am-4:30 pm
Travel plans must accomodate the 4:30 end time.
