Trainer Course for General Industry (OSHA 501)

This TRAINER course has been redesigned.  Thorough knowledge of OSHA General Industry Standards is required.  The primary focus of this course is teaching training techniques.  If you are looking for an OSHA Standards course, please take the OSHA 511 (General Industry).  Following successful completion of the written exam, students become OSHA authorized Trainers in the 10 and 30 Hour Outreach Program for a 4 year period, after which students must update training.  Laptop recommended.

  • The Outreach Program

On the first day of class you will be asked to sign an Elgibility Statement confirming that you meet the following course requirements.

REQUIRED PRE-REQUISITES

OSHA Standards for General Industry (OSHA 511)

AND

Five years of General Industry Safety experience

Time: 8:00 am-4:30 pm
Travel plans must accomodate the 4:30 end time.
